Authentic Vintage French 18 Karat Gold Love Medal by A. Augis

French medals of love, or the Augis médaille d'amour, include the quote, “plus qu’hier, moins que demain" The French phrase translates to “more than yesterday, less than tomorrow,”
and was adapted from the couplet, "For, you see, each day I love you more, today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow." This is part of a poem called “The Eternal Song” written by Rosemonde Gérard.

This idea of eternal love, one that continues to grow, for a lover or ourselves, is made each day anew.
