18k Yellow Gold Coin and Bezel Unoaerre Gemini Zodiac Sign Coin Pendant by Pietro Giampaoli

This pendant is original from the 1970’s and is not a reproduction.
This special series of zodiac coins was created by Pietro Giampaoli, Italy’s most revered master medalist and engraver of the 20th century.
The front depicts Leo, the lion basking in the sun and on the opposite side if the coin is Apollo driving his golden chariot, watched over and guided by the Roman goddess of victory, Nike.
This unique coin pendant is in excellent vintage condition and has been lightly polished.
The coin is fully hallmarked on the front with Giampaoli’s signature, 18k, Italian manufacturer hallmark, Unoaerre and Italian hallmarks.
